Everything you need to know about tutoring with us.
We offer mathematics tutoring for students from primary school through to NCEA.
We currently specialise in mathematics, providing support across a range of year levels and abilities.
Sessions typically last between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the student's age, individual learning needs and the areas being covered. Session lengths are tailored to ensure each student gets the most from their tutoring.
We offer three options depending on your child's needs: Regular Tutoring, Exam Preparation and Focused Short Term Support.
Yes. Our mathematics tutoring is delivered by Nicola, a fully qualified mathematics teacher.
You'll have access to a dedicated parent portal, where you can view updates after every tutoring session. This includes information about what was covered, your child's progress and areas for further development.
Our tutoring is primarily delivered in person in Queenstown. We believe this provides the best learning experience, although online sessions may be considered depending on individual circumstances.
Our current rate for new students is $89 per session.
Tutoring sessions are invoiced four weeks in advance, making it easy for families to plan ahead.
We understand that plans can change. As each session is reserved specifically for your child, the following cancellation policy applies:
- 7 days or more notice: No charge.
- 24 hours to less than 7 days notice: 50% of the session fee.
- Less than 24 hours notice: Full session fee.
If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least 7 days' notice. We'll do our best to accommodate your request, but alternative times cannot be guaranteed.
We understand that unexpected circumstances arise and are always happy to discuss these individually.
We ask for a minimum of two weeks' notice if you wish to discontinue regular tutoring sessions. This allows us to offer the reserved time to another student.
